The Chairman's Message
What Does AVIDD Stand For?
"The
United States Constitution"
In the beginning, our Constitution was the
fundamental law of our Nation. It was written to establish the character
of our government, laying the basic principles to which its internal
life is to be conformed, such as, organizing, regulating, distributing,
and limiting the functions of its different departments. It is a
charter of government, deriving its whole authority from the governed,
and is a written instrument agreed upon by the people as the absolute
rule of action and decision for all departments, branches, and offices
of the government.
The Constitution must govern until it shall be changed by proper
authority from we the people (i.e. by amendments). Any act or ordinance
of any such departmentor office, in opposition to The Constitution
will be declared null and void.
Abraham Lincoln said
"Study
the Constitution! Let it be preached from the pulpit proclaimed
in the Legislature and enforced in the courts of Justice."
The Bible
"If
the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
Psalm 11:3
Our Founding Fathers gave us a spendid torch and we must hold it
up and make it shine as brightly as possible before passing it on
to the next generation.
